Fan Makes Unfortunate Events Trailer Better Than Entire 2004 Film!

So a new trailer went viral for Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, a new series based on the books by Lemony Snicket. As it turns out, this is merely a fan-made trailer and not an official trailer for upcoming Netflix Original Series.

I was sad to discover that this was fan made. I enjoyed the book series up until I saw the truly abysmal 2004 misfire starring Jim Carrey and featuring one of the only performances from Meryl Streep not to be Oscar nominated.
